Francesca Fermi: She graduated in 2004 in Environmental Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan. Working in TRT, she developed a rising experience in several European projects (STEPs, TRIAS) focused on the transport policy analysis and the energy system scenarios applying different modelling tools. She also analysed the transport demand system, developing a model to estimate the passenger origin/destination matrices on the basis of the main demographic and social-economics characteristics. She uses specific software for Geographic Information System (ArcView-GIS, MapInfo), transport modelling (MEPLAN, CUBE-TRIPS) and System Dynamics modelling (VENSIM).
